Course Description

This course seeks to develop middle leader trainers. Middle leaders play a critical role in supporting the Teaching and Learning function in the school. This course focus on the development of leaders trainers in order to facilitate a cascaded rollout of development into the classroom.

 

Learning Outcomes

  • Learners should be able to identify their roles and responsabilities of the Middle leader
  • Be able to lead and manage a PLC group within their school and in their community
  • Be able to plan and execute a training session to support teachers at school
  • Be able to define best practice in T& L and support the imp0imenattaion in their schools
  • Be able to support the Senior leaders in their t& L focus in the school
  • Be able to use Data to affect change in the school.
  • Be able to support leaders in the community in collaborative ways
  • Be able to report on managerial issues on managing the school curriculum
  • Be able to articulate all T& L issues during school reviews.
  • Be able to train and support all academic staff in the school.

Course Delivery

The course will be delivered either by Face-to-face sessions on campus or through the means of a webinar.

Facilitator
