There are several types of leadership, and knowing each one is necessary if you want to apply for a leadership license.
Course Description
The Ministry of Education (MOE) have been working in collaboration with Higher Education Institutes on the development of performance assessments for initial licensure for all current school leaders. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and thought process needed to manage, coach, and mentor school staff and inspire them to enhance educational teaching and learning in order to ultimately provide an education that develops the skills, knowledge, and understanding of students. The first school Leaders performance assessment for cluster managers, principals, and vice principals will be available in January of 2021. This program provides an overview on the method in achieving an Educational Leadership licensure in the UAE. This overview serves to aspire leaders and those wanting to pursue an educational leadership role within the UAE. .
Learning Outcomes
After completing this course successfully, you will be able to:
• Develop a clear understanding of effective school leadership
• Describe the type of evidence required to demonstrate effective leadership
• Understand how leadership standards are mapped against inspection criteria
• Adequately prepare for all types of questions on the Standardized test
